Data-Use Addendum
Last updated: September 3, 2026
This addendum describes, specifically, how QR Beers handles the subscriber list a brewery builds through its pages — the emails and WhatsApp numbers of people who asked to hear from that brewery. It sits alongside the Privacy Policy, which covers the platform's data practices more broadly.
1. Who owns the list
A brewery's subscriber list belongs to that brewery. QR Beers does not claim ownership of it, does not use it for its own marketing, and does not sell, rent, or share it with any other brewery or third party.
2. What QR Beers does with it
QR Beers stores and processes the list on the brewery's behalf: it is the infrastructure the brewery uses to collect signups and, once a sender is in place, to reach them — not an independent user of the data. A brewery can search, filter, edit, export and delete its own list from the dashboard at any time.
3. What QR Beers does not do
QR Beers does not read subscriber contact details for its own purposes beyond what operating the feature requires — counts, aggregate signup trends, and system tasks like deduplication and delivery. Nobody at QR Beers browses a brewery's subscriber list to see who is on it.
4. The brewery's responsibilities
The brewery is responsible for how it messages its own subscribers, for honoring unsubscribe requests in any channel it uses outside the platform, and for complying with the marketing and privacy laws that apply to it, including any rules on alcohol marketing where its subscribers are located.
5. If the brewery's account closes
If a brewery's account closes, its subscriber data is retained only as needed to comply with the Privacy Policy's retention rules and applicable law, then deleted.
6. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Rojocuadrado LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions: hello@qrbeers.com.
