Alcohol & Content Disclaimer

QR Beers publishes information about alcoholic beverages on behalf of the breweries that use it. This page states plainly what the platform is, and is not, and what the freshness information on a beer's page does and does not mean.
1. Drink responsibly
The pages on qrbeers.com describe alcoholic beverages. They are meant for adults of legal drinking age, and nothing here is an invitation to drink beyond what is legal, safe or responsible where you are. If you are under the legal drinking age, pregnant or may be pregnant, driving, or have a medical reason to avoid alcohol, these pages are not for you.
2. No health claims
Neither QR Beers nor a brewery's page on it makes, endorses or implies any health, medical, nutritional or wellness claim about beer or about any specific product. Statements about flavour, aroma, ingredients or brewing process are not statements about health effects, and nothing on this platform should be read as medical advice. Breweries agree, under our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy, not to publish health claims through the platform.
3. QR Beers is not a sale platform
QR Beers is software. It does not sell, distribute, ship or deliver alcohol, and no purchase of alcohol happens on qrbeers.com. Where a page shows a "Where to buy" link, it points to a brewery's own contact channel — for example WhatsApp — or to a retailer the brewery has listed. Any sale that follows happens between you and that brewery or retailer, under their own terms and the laws of your location, not through QR Beers.
4. Freshness is about flavour, not safety
The freshness indicator on a beer or batch page — Peak fresh, Drink soon, or Past its best-by — describes when a brewery expects a beer to taste as intended. It is never a safety statement or a shelf-life warranty: a beer past its window has simply moved on from the flavour the brewery meant it to have. The window itself is the brewery's own: a date printed on the can, a setting for that beer, or a typical value for its style. QR Beers only computes where a given batch falls inside a window the brewery set.
5. Brewery content is the brewery's own
Stories, tasting notes and other descriptive content on a brewery or beer page are supplied by that brewery, and reflect their word choices, not ours. Ratings and comments come from visitors. QR Beers does not review this content for accuracy before it is published. If you believe a page makes a health claim, misstates alcohol content, or otherwise needs correction, contact the brewery directly or write to hello@qrbeers.com and we will follow up.
6. The age check
Beer and brewery pages ask visitors to confirm they are 21 or older, regardless of location. This is our site policy, not a statement that every country has the same purchase age. It is a self-declared confirmation, not identity verification, and does not replace a retailer's age checks at the point of sale.
7. Governing law and contact
